Epiphany is coming – and we can help.
According to the Christian Year church calendar, Epiphany is the conclusion of the Advent and Christmas season. It begins with Epiphany Eve (Jan. 5th, 2010), celebrates the day of Epiphany (Jan. 6th, 2010), and then continues into the After Epiphany season until the beginning of Lent (Feb. 17, 2010).
Epiphany means “the appearing,” or “manifestation,” and is a time we celebrate that Christ’s Light has been manifest to both the Jews and the entire world. We progress through the worship story of Epiphany as Jesus manifests Himself in miracles and acts of power, and give special attention to the coming of the Wise Men, and then in After Epiphany to the baptism of Christ.
We’ve done our best to make celebrating Epiphany easy for you, here on our Epiphany Worship Resources page. We’ll keep compiling some amazing worship tools for you, and you can expect us to add to this list year after year!
